The School of Chemistry at Newcastle University recently opened its new Northern Cancer Medicinal Chemistry Laboratory.

The ribbon was cut, a ripple of applause of heard, and everyone piled in to view the freshly kitted out lab. Attendees were then invited to consume the University catering, and sample the fine wine.
